Certificate Course in French

Being the second most influential language internationally after English, and having a readership and following which are commiserate with the number of its students, French is definitely the language to know these days.

The widespread use of French as a language can also be inferred from the fact that French, with English is the official language of many towering organizations of the world, such as the UN, NATO, UNESCO, the International Red Cross Association and IOC (The International Olympic Committee), to name a few. From a recent survey, it has been noted that almost 70% of jobs in the US require or prefer the aspirants who know French, other than English, which is a testimony to the importance of French.

To address this global need, YCMOU & IACT Global offers a course on French language which is practical and easy to learn. Most French courses on the internet teach a lot on vocabulary and grammar, but when you are done you can’t actually speak the language. We teach you to build sentences, ask and answer questions and truly communicate. This interactive course teaches you to start speaking French by focusing on sentence structure, not just vocabulary with the help of specially designed One-to-One weekly practice sessions along with e-learning content with 6 months validity.

Duration: 6 months

Eligibility: Class 10^th or equivalent.

Enrolment Process

The interested candidates have to apply to IACT for enrolling for the programme. IACT will forward the details of candidate’s application to YCMOU, which will further review the eligibility criteria on individual basis. The course coordinator of YCMOU reserves the right to decline the candidature of any applicant whose eligibility criteria is not at par as per the requirements of the course. The candidates must complete the course, required assignments, term-project, etc as communicated by the faculty or as contained in the course material. On successful completion of these requirements candidates would be awarded a certificate from YCMOU, Nashik.
